New Director appointed at SolvAxis

 



SolvAxis reinforces its team of dirtectors with the arrival of Patrik Hug as Sales & Marketing Director. The naming of Patrik Hug to this position has secured the services of a highly experienced actor in the field and allows SolvAxis, the Swiss Mid-market ERP solution leader, to pursue its development strategy in German speaking Switzerland.

As former Country Manager for Switzerland and Austria, at Open Text Switzerland, a market leader for ECM software (enterprise content management), Patrik Hug now joins the board of directors at SolvAxis, where he takes on the responsibility for sales and marketing.
 
Over the past 15 years, Patrik Hug has successfully occupied several highly valued positions in Swiss IT companies. Starting as an Account Manager with ABB before joining IDS Scheer AG three years later. In 2002, he was named as Key Account Manager with Obtree (now trading as Open Text Switzerland) where he looked after blue ribbon accounts such as , Roche, the CFF, and the Swiss Post Office.
 
Patrik Hug was named as a member of the board of directors of Open Text Switzerland in 2006, and was given the responsibility for Swiss sales. Three years later he was named as Country Manager for Switzerland and Austria. His excellent performance, analytical capacities, and the quality of his work were duly rewarded with the title of "European Manager of the Year" by Open Text in 2009.
 
For SolvAxis, Patrik Hug's managerial skills and excellent sales results show that he has what it takes to reinforce its development strategy in German speaking Switzerland.
 
Patrik Hug will be in charge of all sales and marketing activities for Switzerland, and can rely on the highly experienced team already in place that are working towards the ambitious growth objectives that SolvAxis have set themselves. With this in mind, the search for new sales models for ProConcept ERP and an increase in market share are the challenges that await Patrik Hug when he takes up his new position with SolvAxis on April 1st 2011.
